Since I was a child, I loved making art with found objects. Today, my medium of choice is old, used license plates. For each piece, I try to use license plates of significance to the subject - state born in, state/country of importance, year of an event, etc.
The cuts on my hands are a constant reminder of my work. My process involves constructing and deconstructing each piece several times during its creation. License plates are hand cut and mounted on painted aluminum.
Available for commission. Pricing varies based on size and complexity of portrait. Current wait time is approximately 2 months once piece is agreed upon.
I currently live in Fairfield, CT with my wife Heather, my two teenagers Bella and Lucas, and my two dogs Samson (AKA Mr. Doodles) and Ranger.
